Wiki Software

The CyberBoard wiki uses MediaWiki open source software. This is the same system that is used for Wikipedia. It's a very powerful tool and yet it is easy to use for most common sorts of editing.

Server Platform

This site is running on CentOS Release 5 Linux. CentOS is running within an OpenVZ server which is in turn hosted on my Ubuntu (Gutsy Gibbon-7.10) system. The Ubuntu system is an Athlon XP system with 1.5GB of RAM and 128GB of disk space.

Backup Schedule

Backups of the CyberBoard wiki site and its database are made at 4:15AM CT every day. These backups are transferred to another computer at either 10:30AM CT or 7:30PM CT depending when my workstation is up and running.

A backup copy of the entire CentOS virtual machine occurs at 4:30AM CT on each Tuesday and Saturday. This backup gets transferred to another machine using the same schedule as the wiki site data.
